Amemura is a popular shopping and nightlife district located to the west of Shinsaibashi Station, It centers n Sankaku Koen (Triangle Park), a popular spot fir skateboarders, dancers and other young people to gather fay or night, and the area is also identifiable by a small replica go th Statue of Liverty (on top of the building) The district's name came from carious shops that started selling America import goods in the 1970s, and it features trendy imported and American-style fashion goods at prices that most likely only those interested in the absolute latest in style will consider paying. There is a scattering of galleries and shops selling accessories and carious trinkets, and flea markets are somethings held on weekends.
