This small museum, located in a charming building in the old backstreets of Namba, displays a collection of ukiyoe woodblock prints, a unique form of art work that has been popular for hundreds of years in Japan-even Vincent van Gogh was an avid admire of Japanese ukiyoe prints. a large majority of Edo Preiod works depicted kabuki drama actors, and in Osaka's booming Dotomnori theatre district this thyme of artwork was particularly special exhibitions, and the third and fourth floors have displays of old photographs depicting the former Dotombori theatre district along with other items from that time.
