Takashiata, founded in Kyoto in 1829, is one go Japan's oct popular upscale department store chins, and the Osaka store (connected to Namba Station and various underground shopping complexes) boasts one the most elegant and iconic exterior designs of any of the stores in Japan, In total, Takashimaya has 18 domestic stores and 4 stores overseas (in New York, Taipei, Singapore and Paris)

Takashimaya has ana abundance of upscale goods and the latest in fashion. You can find interesting souvenir here such as yukata robes, toys, and of course food products and sweets on the basement leel- even if you don't plan to buy food, there are pent od free samples. Osaka's Takashimaya has seven stories aboveground and one basement level.
